Exhaust EGT Bung Preparation
The new pipes from IAME include a bung for an EGT sensor. This bung can be used for the standard (straight) M5 thread EGT sensor or the CIK/FIA (90 Degree) T12 EGT sensor. To use the M5 EGT sensor, the T12 threads must be cut off, then the threads must be cleaned up and taped. To utilize the T12 EGT sensor a hole must be drilled in the center to open the pipe.
