The VLR Emerald is a full size 4-stroke specific sprint kart made in Italy to dominate LO206 races here in the United States. The Emerald is simplistic, yet unique with it’s “S Bar” design in the rear, and 28mm tubing throughout. The smaller diameter tubing along with the smaller 40mm diameter axle creates a soft and dynamic feel to allow novice and expert drivers to thrive. A major advantage to the VLR Emerald, is the affordability of replacement parts. An unfortunate part of racing is that being involved in a crash is only a matter of time, and with that in mind VLR kept the Emerald components very affordable compared to other chassis out there. This also means it is more affordable to purchase and keep additional tuning parts on hand to make sure your kart is set up perfect for track conditions. The Emerald has proven itself throughout the country winning CKNA Grand Nationals 8 times and many other club, regional and national championships. This chassis is made for ages 12 and older racing in Briggs & Stratton LO206 and Tillotson T4 classes.
For 2025 the VLR Emerald received new KG Bodywork including the 509 Front Bumper and Nassau Panel, an adjustable steering shaft support, a new VLR leather stitched steering wheel and a new graphics scheme.
