Over-Under Racing is now your source for Variable Line Racing (VLR) Karts and Parts in Texas and online nationwide! Miranda Cromp of VLR and Evan Kozak of Over-Under Racing have come up with a great program to grow the VLR presence in 4-Stroke races in Texas. Over-Under Racing will have multiple demo kart available at North Texas Karters that will be utilized on demo days, for private demo sessions and will also be utilized for an upcoming arrive and drive program at North Texas Karters (NTK) club races as well as regional races in 2026. We want everyone to have an opportunity to drive a VLR kart to feel the difference and understand why it is one of the top karts in the national 4-stroke racing scene.

During the last few months Evan worked with a group of highly experienced 4-stroke racers as they tested multiple chassis. In the end they narrowed it down to two of the top chassis, however, the VLR was consistently faster at Over-Under Racing’s home track, NTK. In addition to being faster, the VLR also came in at a much lower price point and featured replacement parts that were also at a much lower price point as well. It was important that we choose a kart that would not only win, but one that was affordable as well.

One racer leading the testing, Chuck Jensen, has been racing karts since 2003 with multiple accomplishments including: Multiple KART Championships (Sprint & Enduro), IKF Grand Nationals Champion (206 Senior), NTK Club Champion (206 Senior) and many sprint and enduro wins over the years. For the remainder of the 2025 season and the 2026 seasons, Chuck will be a VLR Factory Supported Driver through Over-Under Racing. Chuck will be competing in NTK club races, as well as some regional races as well on a new VLR Emerald Kart. Chuck will be working with Evan to develop the 4-stroke racing program at Over-Under Racing to get more drivers involved in the sport and help existing drivers improve their performance. Chuck said this regarding the VLR Emerald “Having raced and tested many different karts, I’m excited about the switch to VLR as I feel it is a great kart for the 206 market. I feel the way it handles is better than any other 206 kart I have driven”.

Over-Under Racing is now stocking both the 28mm and 28mm/30mm VLR Emerald Full Size rolling chassis, bare frames, and all tuning and replacement parts. The VLR Sapphire Cadet Kart is expected Q4 of 2025 and once it is available from VLR, they too will be stocked along with all tuning and replacement parts.
